Arsenal star Mathieu Debuchy has won over Arsene Wenger

Arsene’s decision to name Mathieu Dembele the club’s new captain came as a shock.

It was the most important moment of the season for Arsenal’s players, and the Frenchman himself admits it was a tough decision.

“It was a very difficult decision, but I have to accept it,” the Gunners boss told French newspaper L’Equipe.

“The club is always trying to improve, we’ve got a lot of players who are hungry, and I thought Dembely is one of them.”

He’s been here for six years, and it’s been a good time for him, he’s had the best season, so it’s always important for the team.

“We didn’t have to make a decision like this.

But I’ve made a good choice and I am very happy for him.”

Arsenal will now begin preparations for their new season on Sunday against Chelsea in a Premier League game.

Debuchy’s move has drawn widespread criticism from some of his Arsenal teammates, with some calling for his departure.

However, Debuchic insists he’s only happy to be in the team, and says he’s grateful for the chance to show his quality.

“I’m very happy at Arsenal.

It was a great team, the team was great, and we’ve won trophies together, so I’m happy to play here,” he said.”

Of course I have always been part of this team, it’s an honour, and this is a club that I like to play for.”
